Colleen, thanks for sharing your comments. I am glad they were helpful. It's interesting, this is the one I keep coming back to as the one that spoke to me the most. The question that I keep asking is - what is this person going through right now that would prevent them from engaging in ministry or helping to move the vision forward. This has caused me to slow down and place myself in their shoes. Hope this helps. Grace and peace.

DC, you can say that last line again. This is what I am learning - I need people and I need to understand people in order to advance God's vision. We might not have a people problem, but a situation problem. We must first seek to understand people's situations and then see how we can engage them in the vision that God has given us. Thanks for adding your voice.

"Relationships trump vision" Another reminder that too much focus on the future can leave us neglecting what's important right now. Besides, without cultivating relationships, most of our visions would never evolve into reality.

Thanks for sharing so clearly. I felt like I was there just by reading these highlight notes you've posted. The one that strikes me and resonates with what I hear the Holy Spirit saying is Relationships trump vision. Asking him to help me make that happen!
