We are focusing on things of the world, that is what is taking us far out to the wide and open sea. We are in this world but we should not be of this world. I don't want to gain the rewards of what the world has to offer me, but my reward is in Heaven. God wants to bless his people and wants them to enjoy what he has made, but in the right way. If I feel like I am happy with the possessions I gain, I know I have a problem. The enemy is always busy distracting us with his broken promises and deceiving offers. We should never allow ourselves to get so far from GOD, that is how we will allow ourselves to become more vulnerable to sin. I know God is merciful but he is also Just, let us try to please him. Keep feeding the spirit. I ask the Lord today disturb me in the things that are distracting me from you.
