Thanks, my brother. I am feeling you on this one. I have to constantly keep myself in check on this one. If we do the little things well, big will automatically happen. But, if we go out trying to become big, then that's when we set ourselves up for disappointment. Again, thanks for your affirmation. Grace and peace.

Interesting post. Good concept that you articulated my brother. I wonder if some that have been hypnotized into thinking that "bigger is better" in terms of the church would catch this message. Solid word man.

Your husband is on point. It is the little things that make the biggest difference. I have had this happen to me on more than one occasion - a smile, a hug, a word, an email, a phone call, a card, etc. We should be sensitive to the leading and prompting of the Holy Spirit and respond immediately to what he says and directs us to do. Thanks for the great insight here.

I believe we are all with out excuse because we can do what ever God has given us to help others. My husband explained to me just saying hello can make a big difference in someone's day. Calling up a neighbor to offer my services if I have nothing to do.

His power is made perfect in our weakness. I am trying to be consistent with the little things first. God wants me to be faithful over the small things and then he will trust me with bigger things. I have not always done a good job, but I am still striving to give him my insignificance and see if he can make it significant for his glory. Thanks for the encouraging word to me. I look forward to hearing how he is using you and will use you to bless the many in your orbit. Grace and peace.

Kim, thanks for the encouragement. God is going to use you in mighty ways. In fact, he is already doing it. You have been a blessing to me and my ministry. I look forward hearing about the "big stuff" God is going to do with, in and through you, as you are consistent with the small stuff he asks you to do. God rewards faithfulness. Grace and peace.

That was a most encouraging word my brother. One I need to be mindful of as I am bombarded daily with ideas of how I can prosper and be a blessing to others in their quest to improve the quality of their lives. When I think about some of the problems we face in our society and wonder what little old me could do to make a positive difference in the lives of the multitudes of people who struggle with one challenge or another it can be a little overwhelming and discouraging especially when I see myself as insignificant. But you what? I need to remember that greater (bigger) is He who is in me. I'm never alone if I truly trust in the Lord. Thanks, I needed that!

Praize Gawd!!! What an awesome, awesome, awesome word! This just speaks to my "inner man" I am in the the Ministry Leadership Bachelor Program Cornerstone and at times I "feel" too small for the ministry and today was one of those days. I am thankful that God is mindful of even my "smallest" concerns and consoles me! Thank you for being obediant to the Holy Spirit and doing your "small" big part in ministry! Kimberly Y. (Durham, mother of the twins Amber & Joshua) Smith LOL
